Death notices for Donegal for Sunday, October 23rd

The following deaths have occurred

Ita McGroary, Laghey/Donegal Town

The death has occurred at Donegal Community Hospital of of Ita McGroary (103) late of  Ardeskin, Donegal Town and Trummon Laghey.

Removal from her residence took place on Saturday at 5.40pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Donegal Town for 6pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 11.30am followed by burial in St. Bridget's Cemetery, Ballintra. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to Donegal Community Hospital. House private for family and friends only.

Mary Hargan, Carnbrae, Quigley's

The death has occurred of Mary Hargan, Carnbrae, Quigley's Point. Removal today,  Sunday at 11.15am, to St Columba’s Church, Drung, Quigley’s Point for Mass at 12 noon.

Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Patrick (Paddy) Quinn,  Tonafora, Dunmanway, Cork  and Glenties

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Quinn at his home, Tonafora and formerly of Fintown, Glenties. Reposing at O'Neill's Funeral Home, Dunmanway. Visitation from 6pm with prayers at 7.30pm on Sunday evening.

Funeral Mass and burial on Tuesday in Glenties.

James (Jim) Hardy, Drim, Cloghan, Ballybofey

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital, of James (Jim) Hardy, Drim, Cloghan and formerly of Creggan, Ballybofey.

Remains reposing at his home in Drim from 4pm today, Sunday, Oct 23rd. Funeral leaving his home on Tuesday at 1.15 pm for Service in St.John's Parish Church, Kilteevogue, at 2pm, followed by interment in Stranorlar Parish Churchyard. Donations in lieu of flowers, please, if so desired, to Cancer Research, c/o any family member. Family time from 11 pm to 11 am.

Christina (Chrissie) McMonagle, Aughnakeeragh, Raphoe

The death has taken place of Christina (Chrissie) McMonagle, Aughnakeeragh, Raphoe

Chrissie's remains are reposing at her son PJ's residence at Aughnakeeragh, Raphoe.

Funeral from there on Tuesday at 10.30am to St Eunan's Church, Raphoe, for 11am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only, please, donations in lieu, if desired, to The Parkinson's Society, Donegal Branch. Family time please on the morning of the funeral.
