Harps to make changes for visit of EA Sport champions St Pat’s

Finn Harps are expected to make at least two changes for tonight’s SSE Airtricity Premier League tie against the newly crowned EA Sports League Cup champions St. Patrick’s Athletic.

The game is at Finn Park and kicks off at 8 pm.

Manager Ollie Horgan is set to make two changes from the team that lost 1-0 to Cork City on Monday night.

Josh Mailey is not available having started college studies in the UK while the injury sustained by Adam Hanlon against Cork rules the midfielder out.

Damian McNulty (knee) is still not fit to return while Horgan also has concerns over Sean Houston and Barry Molloy.

Harps, who have lost on their last eight outings, will be anxious to turn the tide on the new EA Sports champions, who are lying eighth in the premier table. The Dubliners are 11 points clear of Harps, who are two places further back, in tenth position. Harps are four points clear of Wexford Youths and ten clear of bottom side Longford Town.

Harps will be hoping to build on Monday night’s encouraging display against Cork City.

St Patrick’s Athletic defeated  Limerick  4-1 last Saturday to win the EA Sports Cup final for a second year in-a-row.
