Donegal GAA club 'go Orange' for World Suicide day

Last night members of the Four Master’s GAA club in Donegal town changed their familiar blue and white strip for a brightly coloured orange alternative in support of World Suicide Prevention Day which takes place tomorrow Saturday.

Luke Keaney the Four Master’s Under 21 manager got great support for their crossbar challenge in Tirchonaill Park with most of the panel turning out to support a really great cause.

Locally based Anne McGowan, the national director of “Light up Orange” said, “We are having a really great response to this whole initiative and we have managed to get practically every county in the country involved.

“The response to the articles in the Democrat and other media has been superb and we are looking forward to a good turnout in Granny Mc’s in Donegal Town tomorrow evening.”

Jonathan Kennedy captured last night’s events on video and this has been posted on our Facebook Page.
