New priest for Ballyshannon as Bishop McDaid announces 14 clerical changes

Ballyshannon, which is served by the Diocese of Raphoe and the Diocese of Clogher, is set to get a new priest following today’s Clerical changes announced by the Bishop of Clogher, Most Rev. Dr Liam McDaid (pictured).

Rev Ian Fee, C.C. Enniskillen has been appointed as C.C. Magh Ene (the Rock) combined with responsibility for One Day Retreats on Lough Derg.

Rev Martin Donnelly, C.C., Magh Ene will return to the Archdiocese of Cardiff, Wales.

Bishop MacDaid has announced the following list of changes for the Diocese of

Clogher which will take effect from the weekend of 2 – 4 September 2016:

Very Rev Canon John McKenna P.P. Trillick to be P.E. Trillick;

Very Rev Sean Nolan P.P. Errigal Truagh to be P.E. Donaghmoyne;

Very Rev Terence Connolly P.P. Eskra to be P.E. Eskra;

Very Rev Noel McGahan P.P. Clogher to also be P.P. Eskra;

Rev Michael Jordan C.C. Donaghmoyne to be C.C. Carrickmacross;

Rev Pádraig McKenna C.C. Carrickmacross to be P.P. Trillick;

Rev John Chester C.C. Monaghan to be P.P. Roslea;

Rev John Flanagan C.C.Roslea to be P.P. Errigal Truagh;

Rev Stephen Joyce C.C. Monaghan to be C.C.Tydavnet, and also

Chaplain to St. Macartan’s College, Beech Hill College and St. Louis Secondary School Monaghan;

Rev Ian Fee C.C. Enniskillen to be C.C. Magh Ene (the Rock) combined with responsibility for One Day Retreats on Lough Derg;

Rev Martin O’Reilly Eskra released to work in the Diocese of Trenton, New Jersey, USA;

Rev Martin Donnelly C.C. Magh Ene to return to the Archdiocese of Cardiff, Wales;

Rev Stephen Duffy newly ordained to be C.C. Monaghan;

Rev Kevin Malcolmson newly ordained to be C.C. Monaghan.
