Sinn Féin will host a public meeting in Letterkenny this evening to discuss the concerns people may have in the wake of the Brexit vote.
The meeting will be chaired by Senator Pádraig MacLochlainn (pictured), with Sinn Féin’s Finance Spokesperson, Pearse Doherty and West Tyrone MP, Pat Doherty also speaking.
Senator MacLochlainn said the discussion tonight in the Station House Hotel will focus on both the Irish government and the executive in Northern Ireland being central to negotiations relating to the aftermath of Brexit.
The impact on trade, infrastructure, agriculture and the movement of people will also be discussed, among other issues.
Senator MacLochlainn also said that the prospect of having a united Ireland that would benefit everyone in terms of services, trade, employment and health services will also be discussed.
The meeting is due to get underway at 7.30 pm.
