Well done to our hurlers who travelled to Garvaghy to play Mattock Rangers and picked up another win. Final score was Seán MacCumhaills 3-15, Matock Rangers 2-11.
Our under-strength senior footballers lost to Termon in MacCumhaill Park on And the third team also lost away to Ardara on Friday night.
The U-14 Hurlers play in the county championship final on Thursday evening in O’Donnell Park against St. Eunans. We’re encouraging as many parents, family members and indeed club members to come down to throw your support behind this team in the final.
There was no winner of this week’s Lotto. The numbers drawn were 5, 15, 21 and 27. There were six match three winners. Owen McMenamin, Ballinamore, Mary Maguire, Carricknamana, Patricia McGrenra, Buncrana, Eunan Bonner, Aughygault Drumkeen, Brid Mc Ginty, Knock Ballybofey and Maggie Gallagher, Woodlawn each receive €25 each. Following our two point defeat at home to Convoy on Saturday evening our senior team are still seeking their first victory of the season. Things just don’t seem to be working out for the team this year, breaks don’t seem to be going our way and we can never seem to get a full compliment available for any game
The club extends congratulations to Fr Angelo Lafferty SMA who celebrated the silver jubilee of his ordination at the weekend. Congrats also to the Donegal minor team who defeated Armagh last weekend and have qualified for the Ulster semi final, and good luck to Rory and the county senior team as the travel to take on Armagh in the Ulster championship at the Athletic grounds on Sun.

Both the seniors and reserves travelled to play Letterkenny Gaels on Saturday night and won.

The seniors lost out by the narrowest of margins at Aodh Ruadh on Saturday evening, despite a great comeback from being 12 points down. Naomh Colmcille U12s traveled to Lifford on Wednesday evening and put in another great performance. Our U12 girls narrowly lost out at Urris on Saturday morning in a match played under very testing conditions. Well done to all the girls for their efforts. The U10s traveled to a blitz at Robert Emmets Castlefin on Saturday. Well done to all the players.
The Kelloggs GAA Cul Camp is from the 6th to the 10th of July for all children aged 6 to 13 years. Camp starts at 10 am to 2.30 pm. Please bring packed lunch and dress for the weather.

The 2015 coaching academy for 4-7 year olds boys and girls continues every Saturday morning (11am to 12:30pm) in Tir Conaill Park with great numbers attending each week.Anyone that can help out at the academy any week should make contact with Pauric Harvey(0860523905) or Laurence Doherty (0877532705). Helpers are required each week for the car park, tea room, collecting money, coaching, setting up and clearing up afterwards. Well done to the some of the U6 academy players who made the step up to the U8 boys football teams in their blitz on Saturday in Ballyshannon. There will also be a weekly mini league for this group later in June which will take place on a weekday and consist of all games.
Well done to the senior men’s football team who recorded an excellent 1-13 to 0-13 away win against Malin on Sunday.
The club will be hosting its own Summer camp in mid July (13th to 17th of July). The camp will run from 10am to 2pm each day with the club coaches and players organizing the camp. The cost of the camp is €40 per child with each child receiving some club gear as well. All underage club players are encouraged to attend this camp as money left over will be reinvested into the underage teams. The camp is open to children aged between 5 and 12 years of age. To book a place on the camp contact Pauric Harvey(0860523905). The camp will focus on all the main skills of gaelic and hurling each day, there will also be a sports day.
The Four Masters Tigers A and Four Masters cubs B played Aodh Ruadh , Naomh Brid and Naomh Conaill. The boys played really good football in the very windy conditions. They showed great teamwork and spirit. Their skills were very good especially their tackling and blocking was top class. The referee commented on the tackling being very good. Thanks goes to Greg Doherty, Geoffery Mc Gonagle , James Cullen , Gerry Ebbs, Pauric Lenahan and Marcus Flannery for coaching and looking after the boys.The boys really enjoyed playing the blitz and they showed great manners and respect during and after the games. Lenovo Youth Gaelic Football Camps, 2015! The camps are open to boys and girls aged 13,14 15 years of age. All participants must register on line at gaa.ie/lenovoskillshub. Admission is €50 per applicant. Leading inter-county players will coach at all camps.
The Northern Board Region camp is at O’Donnell Park, Letterkenny, from Tuesday, 16th June to Friday, 19th June. The head coach is Michael Boyle.
The Southern Board camp is at Tir Conaill Park, Donegal Town from Tuesday, 23rd June, 2015 to Friday, 26th June, 2015. The head coach is Karl Lacey . This Year’s Kellogs Cul Camp takes place from 29th June to 3rd July at St Marys Pitch .
The seniors drew in their top of the table clash with St Michaels on Sunday both teams were without their county players and along with injury’s we were short nine first team players. Tickets for the Ulster Championship match away to Armagh will be given out in Towney from 7-8 on Thursday, best of luck to the Donegal team and the players from the club in this match.

In the Division One League Match between Dungloe and Ardara played in Ardara at the weekend, Dungloe came out on top in both the Senior and Reserve games.
The Dungloe G.A.A Cul Camp will take place in the G.A.A pitch from Monday the 29th of June until Friday the 3rd of July. The camp is for boys aged 6 to 13 years of age and will entail coaching and matches in both football and hurling each day. Cork Hurling Stars Alan Cadogan and Conor Lehane, two current Cork county senior hurling players, will do a coaching session with Dungloe hurlers for all age group on Friday the 12th of June in the field at 4 pm.
Congratulations to the Under 14 hurlers and management team who defeated Four Masters in the county semi-final. Dungloe/Gweedore will now play in the County Final on Thursday the 11th at 6.30 pm. The All Ireland Feile in the Under 14 hurling starts on Friday the 19th of June, check out the club Facebook for a fixture list of matches. A great crowd turned out to our Annual Sports Day on Sunday week last in aid of the MS Society of Ireland and Parkinson’s Society North West Branches.We would like to thank everyone for attending and their support for two wonderful charities. The Malin GAA Country Queen proved to be an entertaining and highly competitive affair, with fun challenges including spud gathering, musical men and sheep herding. Well done to the 14 girls who participated and were great fun and congratulations to Shauna McLaughlin(Barney) who won the coveted title for 2015, representing John Byrne Seafoods.
The James Anthony Memorial 7-a-side was also a huge success in its first year, with teams from Culkeeny, Beaugh, Glengad, Ulbereagh/Black Mountain and Aughaclay. Winners on the day were Beaugh, a mixture of Byrnes, Rustards and Aidan Bambrick. Thank you once again to everyone who volunteered, participated and came along to support the day. The men had no games at the weekend because of a mumps outbreak among the players. Training has also been cancelled on Tuesday and yet to be confirmed for Thursday.
The boys and girls were playing in a blitz on Saturday in Castlefin and once again the children put in a fantastic effort and played very well. Thanks to everyone who helped out on the day.
The U12 boys had a great victory last Wednesday over St Eunans. The lads were playing away to MacCumhaills on Monday evening and unfortunately lost out to a very strong MacCumhaills .

The next league fixture is scheduled to be another home game against Naomh Columba on June 21st.
During senior/reserve home games no cars at all will be permitted entry to the pitch grounds once the reserve game has begun – the main gates will close at this point. Patrons can park along the main road outside of the pitch grounds. There will also be no parking permitted along the road which runs adjacent to the club house - this is a private road and only residents will be permitted access along that road. We also ask all patrons to be vigilant when walking/driving through the pitch car park as there is a lot of moving traffic around on match days and lot of children around the grounds.
The next minor board meeting will take place Monday, June 15th at 8:30 in the club house.
Well done to our U-12’s who played an away game to St. Michaels last Friday evening. Despite the windy conditions they put up a tough battle and managed to secure a victory.
The club ran a successful school coaching programme each Wednesday over the past four weeks.
Students from the national schools in the parish were transported from school to the club grounds for mentoring and coaching from club members and players. A huge thank you to all the coaches and volunteers who dedicated their free time to make the programme a success

The senior and reserve teams travelled the short distance to Falcarragh on Sunday and both teams won.

The U-12 boys continued their steady start to the league with a good away victory against St. Nauls. Both teams were evenly matched for most of the game, however our boys finished a little stronger to run out 4-9 to 2-6 winners in the end.
The development team drew for the third consecutive match with their hosts. In what was a close encounter throughout our lads held a slender one point lead going into the final minutes, however a well worked score for St. Nauls in the dying minutes earned them a draw.
Killybegs GAA will hold a Kelloggs Cul Camp this year from the 6th-10th July.
The minor board are staging a Night at the Races it will take place on Saturday the 18th of July in the Harbour Bar!

Aodh Ruadh got the points in a blustery Páirc Aoidh Ruadh, but only after weathering a second half storm from Naomh Colmcille.
The under 14s will hope Monday night marked a turning point in their season as they recorded a convincing victory over to St Naul’s. Ryan McDonald kept a clean sheet, thanks in large part to a solid defence that limited the Mountcharles men chances to get any kind of momentum going. With centre half back Adam Clarke absent, the number six jersey was worn by Eugene Doherty and he played a blinder turning over ball after ball in the Saint Naul’s attack. Harry Howarth’s well taken goal in the first half was a result of some great combination play and Aodh Ruadh led 1-5 to 0-4 at half time. With a soft breeze favouring them in the second half Aodh Ruadh brushed aside Saint Naul’s, who are better than they showed in Father Tierney Park. Shane Gillespie put in a great shift and scored two goals in the second half bringing his total for the night to 2-6. Eoin Doherty contributed 1-2 while Mark McGlynn and Senan Rooney also got on the score sheet. The workload for the night was shared evenly throughout the team; tackling strongly, maintaining possession and moving the ball well all over the field.
The under 8s hosted a blitz last Saturday in Páirc Aoidh Ruaidh with sides from Four Masters, Naomh Conaill and Naomh Bríd also taking part. Conditions were less than ideal with high winds and some rain putting a dampener on things. Still, it was good to see many of our players getting their first game of the season under their belt.Thanks also to our match official’s on the day, especially Barry Travers, Sylvester Maguire and Bord na nÓg chairman David O’Donnell.
The St Eunan’s hurlers play St Eunan’s in the Ulster Táin league in Father Tierney Park this Sunday 14th June.
On Thursday last our under 14s qualified for the under 14 B championship final, defeating Setanta in the semi-final in Fr Tierney Park. It was our best performance of the year as every one of the 15 lads gave their all for the cause. They put in a convincing performance and ran out comfortable winners 4-9 to 1-2. The lads are up against a very strong Dungloe / Gaoth Dobhair amalgamation in the final this Thursday which will be played in O’Donnell Park, Letterkenny.
On Saturday our under 12s had their first outing of the season as they travelled to the Tyrone Centre of Excellence in Garvaghey to take part in a Tyrone blitz.
On Sunday morning in bright sunshine Páirc Aodh Ruadh was a hive of activity as we hosted a blitz for under 8s and under 10s. We had 33 under 8s and fielded four teams and competed against St Joseph’s, Ederney and Four Masters. All our teams did very well and all the players got loads of game time. At under 10 we hosted Erne Gaels and Four Masters. The under 10s won all three of their games.
The Juvenile Hurling Committee are delighted to announce Loughlin Heating and Plumbing as the sponsors of our under 8 team. At the blitz on Sunday morning Kevin Loughlin representing the company presented a new set of jerseys for the lads to Juvenile Hurling chairman John Rooney.
Under 14 training continues on Tuesdays and Thursday from 6pm to 7pm. We are still awaiting the championship draw to decide the next set of fixtures.
The under 12 girls have been busy in the past week with two fixtures. The first was last Wednesday when they faced Drumcliffe / Rosses Point at Páirc Aoidh Ruaidh. Then on Sunday morning they travelled to Tir Chonaill park where they took on Four Masters. The Shamettes put in a great display in both games to record convincing victories.

The seniors travelled to Towney on Sunday last to play the home side in a top of the table match in Division 1 of the All County League. Despite missing a number of players the came away with a good draw.

The Under 10s had their home blitz last Saturday June the 6th at the Bridge Dunfanaghy. Teams from St. Michaels, Downings, St Eunans and Convoy took part. Though the weather was unpleasant there was fine displays o football. Thanks to the coaches referees on the day and also to the tea ladies for the refreshments afterwards.
The U-8s have a blitz in Milford this Saturday at 12 noon. Bus leaving the Bridge at 11.10, Creeslough 11.25. As always any parent wishing to travel on the bus is very welcome. A big turnout would be appreciated as its at these games where the kids really develop and improve.
On Sunday last our seniors had a fantastic win at home to Bundoran and look forward to a well deserved weekend off this coming weekend.
Our u14 boys had an impressive win over Kilcar, on Tuesday last.
Our u14 girls were in action also at home on Tuesday last losing out to a strong St Nauls side. Our u12s had a fantastic win away to Kilcar on Wednesday last.
The u8s had a great day Saturday last at their first blitz of the year away to Na Rossa. Monthly Club meeting this Thursday at 830pm, All team managers are asked to attend. Tickets for the Donegal versus Armagh game will be available for collection on Thursday the 11th of June at the Club house from 7.30 to 8.30 pm,
There will be only one collection day. Any one unable to personally collect their tickets please make alternative arrangements for collection on Thursday evening. Our Lotto Continues to grow, this week the jackpot hits €8,200 so please support.
The fundraising draw takes place this Friday 12th June. The top prize is €5,000 and the draw will place in the Fanad Lodge.

The twentieth Club Lotto draw of the year took place on Monday the 8th of June at the clubhouse. The numbers drawn were 6, 8, 18 and 22. There was no jackpot winner. The runners-up prize of €100 was split between five people who matched two of the numbers drawn. They were: Amy McLoone (Ballindrait), Patsy O’Hagan (Argary), Thomas Whyte (Murlog), Josie Boyle (Guystown) and Tony McGill (Cloughfin). Next week’s jackpot is €1350.
The senior men recorded their third victory on the bounce with a three point victory over namesakes Naomh Padraig Muff.
The second of our summer quiz series takes place this Friday night (June 12th), in the Central Bar, Lifford. Cost of entry is €20 per team of four.
There will be a general club meeting in the Clubhouse next Thursday, June 18th at 7.30 pm. This meeting is open to all club members and all are welcome to attend.
The senior dootballers recorded a fine victory over Naomh Conaill on Sunday.
The Junior footballers kept their 100% record in Division Five with a good win over Glenswilly. The U-14 boys footballers recorded two comfortable victories over the weekend, defeating St. Michael’s in Dunfanaghy, 3-15 to 1-08 and then beating Cloughaneely in Falcarragh on Monday evening.
The club will be hosting Cúl Camps once again this year in O’Donnell Park. This week’s lotto numbers will be posted on the club Facebook page and sent by club email when available. Sympathy is extended to the Coleman, Crossan and Dunleavy families on their recent bereavements.
Congratulations to Joe and Bernie O’Donnell who won our jackpot of €980 at the weekend. Their lucky numbers were 4-9-17-22. Next weeks jackpot is €500.
The seniors and reserves games against Red Hughs scheduled to take place last week but was cancelled due to an outbreak of mumps within the Red Hughs club.
The minors have been drawn against Naomh Colmcille and Muff in their championship group. Games will take place on the 29th June and 6th of July.
The U10s took part in a very well organised blitz last Friday evening in Glenswilly. Twenty children represented the club and acquitted themselves very well.
There is an U8 Blitz this Saturday 13th June in Milford at 12 noon. We hope to see as many children as possible there on the day.
Gaelic 4 Mothers & Others resumes training next Monday, 9th March at 8.15 pm.
The men’s footballers had mixed results when they played Iorras at the weekend. The reserves recorded a win and the seniors lost their match.
The U-10 home football blitz took place on Saturday in wintry conditions where scores of children took part with visiting teams from Cloughaneely, Gaoth Dobhair and McCools.
Congratulations to clubman Pauric Breslin on his fine run and race win at our 5k last Tuesday.

We are saddened that the club’s defibrillator has been tampered with. The defibrillator has just been serviced, and because of this incident, will now need a further service, at an additional cost of €185 to the Club.
