The third week of the league took place at Deane’s Equestrian Centre last Sunday the 11th of October and once again the sun was spliting the rocks.

Dean Burgess and Yankee got the Starter Stakes up and running with a lovely clear. Katie Boyd and Robin were full of confidence from last weeks performance and jumped a great round too go clear.

In the 40cm class Katie Boyd and Robin completed their first double of clear round rosette as they were once again clear. Casey Lee Hegarty on Meenarillagh was not to be out done as she too picked up a clear round rosette for her super round.

In the 50cm class the riders were all determined to get a rosette and Maddie Edmunds on Orchid was the first in to take on the course she jumped a superb round and claimed a rosette. Amy Gardiner on Robin was next in and with determined riding cantered the whole course to claim her clear round rosette. Zoe Curran and her pony Dancer were by far the quickest around the course and more importantly were clear all the way. Ally McClay on Tilly jumped a great round to claim yet another clear round rosette. Hollie Bradley and Meenarillagh finished the class with a flourish as she made up for last weeks error and yet another clear round rosette.

The 60cm class saw Zoe Curran on Dancer back in the arena again and Dancer knew where to go and they were once more in the rosettes. Ally McClay and Meenarillagh pick up their second clear round rosette of the day. Lily Wilcox on Star was not to be out done and she put in a great performance and picked up a clear round rosette for her effort.

The 70cm Class saw a lot of riders pick up faults all over the course but it was Zoe Curran and Dancer who showed how it should be done as she claimed her third rosette of the day. Shauneen Gallagher on Tibby flew around the course in the blink of an eye but was clear and picked up a rosette. Lucy Stewart on Dedo jumped a super round. Seamus Og Campbell took his new mount Sam around the course and much to their surprise jumped clear and took home a clear round rosette.

The 80cm Class saw the battle of the tortoise and the hare as Shauneen Gallagher on Tibby were in action once again as they raced around the course going for another clear round rosette. Lucy Stewart on Dedo took their time but in the end they were also clear. Gemma Baird on Jasper in only his second time jumping indoors had to work hard for her clear round rosette as she had to push for every jump.

In the 90cm Class Gemma Baird and Jasper had an easier time as he knew what to do and they picked up another clear round rosette. Megan Boner on Creggan Boy also made light work of the course to pick up a clear round rosette.

There were no clear rounds in the 1m or 1.10m class.

The Autumn League continues with the Final on 18th October. Riders must have competed in 2 competitions to qualify for prizes in the Final but all riders welcome. Thanks to everyone who helped on the day.
