Termon ladies’ historic All-Ireland journey has been captured on DVD entitled All-Ireland Journey 2014.
The DVD chronicles the journey from day one right through to All-Ireland final day in St Jarlath’s Stadium in Tuam, last November.
The DVD, which was recorded and produced by Declan O’Doherty, was launched by Minister of the State for the Gaeltacht, Joe McHugh TD and former Derry star and RTE Sunday Game pundit Joe Brolly, at the club’s annual presentation banquet in the Lagoon on Saturday night.
Footage in this unique record includes scenes from the county final right up to and including the All-Ireland final.
It also includes pre-match and post-match interviews from manager Francie Friel and ace goal scorer Geraldine McLaughlin.
It also captures the All-Ireland fever that gripped the club and parish in the lead up to the final.
The DVD also goes behind the scenes and includes team talks, the departure of the bus from Termon on the day before the final and the coach trip south to Tuam on the Saturday afternoon.
The raw emotion and excitement expressed by management, players, parents and supporters at the final is also captured on the excellent production which is voiced by Pauric Hilferty of Ocean FM.
The production also includes the journey home from Tuam on the Sunday night after the final and the homecoming through Donegal and those momentous scenes of joy on arrival home to Termon.
The DVD is available from the club and is also on sale in local shops.
