Matt Deeney from Buncrana is the goalkeeper for the British champions, while Michael Molloy, a native of Kilcar, scored 0-2 and Pettigo’s Kevin Kane kicked a point coming off the bench.

Colm Gallagher from Mountcharles is trainer and Connaill Beag Cunningham of Naomh Columba is part of the management team.

Rock St Patrick’s from Tyrone drew with Kerry’s Brosna 1-7 to 0-10 in Ballinasloe in the other semi-final and must replay this weekend. The final is down for decision at Croke Park on February 14.

In the JHC semi-final, Manchester’s Fullen Gaels, with Declan Walsh from Buncrana coming on as a second half substitute, beat Monaghan’s Castleblaney 2-18 to 1-7.

They will play Bennettsbridge from Kilkenny on February 14.
