Sean Francie Marley matched the first four numbers and won €60.Next week’s Jackpot is €3,200.Bord na nÓg are hosting a party followed by a Barn Dance in the GAA Hall on Friday 30th of May at 8pm. Dancing from 10pm-1am. Admission is €7 and refreshments will be served. We would like to thank everyone who got out and supported our couples in Strictly Come Dancing. Overall the club made a profit of €1635.
The third team were unfortunate to be beaten by McCools by a point on Saturday night. The seniors and reserves play Cloughaneely at home on Saturday 31st of May.
The U14s were beaten at home by Robert Emmetts in their second Division Two championship match on Wednesday evening. The visitors raced into a 2-2 to no score lead by the tenth minute and had a half time lead of 3-6 to 1-5. Further goals for the visitors in the second half proved decisive as they ran out winners on a Naomh Colmcille 2-12 6-7 Robert Emmetts scoreline. This year’s Run for Funds takes place on 31st May at Kernans.
This year’s Cul Camp runs from the seventh to the 11th of July for all children aged 6 to 13 years. Camp runs from 10 am to 3 pm. Cost is €55 for the first child and €45 for each child thereafter. A week of fun and craic with qualified coaches. Contact Sharon on 087-9685558.

St Mary’s (Convoy)
The Lotto countries draw at the weekend were LD, DB, AM, DN. There was one match three winner Amanda McElhinney, Convoy. Next week’s jackpot is €3,300. Hard luck to the Donegal minor girls and our own Victoria Kelly, who were beaten at the weekend The club hosted a successful U10 Blitz on Saturday. It was great to see so many boys and girls from our own club, Glenswilly and Robert Emmetts Many thanks to Coaches Gerard McHugh and Laurence McNamee and the referees Michael Patton and Megan Ward. A special word of thanks to all those that supplied and helped with the refreshments after the blitz.

The All County Under 14 Final took place in Glenfin on Friday evening. Mac Cumhaills were up against a very strong Naomh Conaill team. McCumhaills got off to the perfect start with goals from Oisin Gallen and points from Anthony Bruton and Chad Mc Sorley. Glenties fought back and at half time it was Mac Cumhaills that held a three point lead. Glenties again came back at Mac Cumhaills and had the deficit down to two points, but another goal from Oisin Gallen, who finished with 3-3, saw Mac Cumhaills run out deserving winners on a scoreline of 3-09 to 0-12. Well done to all the lads and coaches. This is the perfect preparation for the All Ireland Feile which takes place next month.
Things were pretty quiet on the playing front, with only two teams in action. First up were our U-14 girls who had another fantastic win against St Nauls. On Saturday evening our reserve team drew away to Milford in the league.

Maria Vryonidou, Church Rd. and €100 Patsy and Janet Boyle, Fairhill.The club has the honour this June of hosting a club for the All Ireland Hurling Feile. The Feile is an under 14 hurling club competition comprised of teams from all over the island of Ireland. The competition is one with a long prestigious history and is often the viewing point where young potential inter county stars are first noticed. The competition is a club competition and each county provides a certain number of clubs usually through their own internal County competition. Dungloe club competed in the Donegal County feile and finished joint third and are also a host club for the tournament.
Host clubs are clubs who agree to make arrangements to welcome and accommodate
one visiting team. In Dungloes case we are hosting a very traditional team from Limerick City, South liberties. The weekend commences on Friday June 20th and ends Sunday June 22nd and Dungloe will have the South Liberties club, team mentors, parents and entourage for that time. They will arrive on Friday afternoon the 20th June and will later that evening play Dungloe U14s in the Rosses Park provisionally at 6pm and which game will be followed by a welcome reception in the new Dungloe clubhouse. The
following Saturday both teams travel to Dungiven in Derry to compete against other teams in their group and it should be noted that Dungloe will also play teams from Clare,Waterford, Westmeath and Derry.
Congratulations to Roshine NS as winners of the Donegal small schools
county hurling competition. They travelled to O’Donnell Park to compete in the county senior national schools comp. Roshine were competing with schools from Illistron, Woodlands, Colmcille, and Gaelscoil. The standard of hurling was very high h a large number of prominent county club players on display.
The Roshine team was Jack Walsh, Gerard Glackin, Evan Forker, Evan McFadden, Conor Hunter, Ryan Brennan, Odhran McGonagle, Philip Noble, Neil Noble, Michael McNulty, James Hartnett, Brendan Boyle and Damian McGowan. Thanks to Master Gillespie and Mary Gillespie for facilitating the development of hurling in the school over the last 6 years and to Adie Gaffey coach who assisted coaching over the last year. This is a very significant achievement for Roshine NS.Well done to our county minors Danny, Adam, John and Christian who defeated Derry in the first round of the Ulster Championship. The Club is very proud of you all.

The Parish League resumes on this Sunday 1st June at 2pm at the Bridge. All donations of sandwiches and home baking will be greatly appreciated. The next blitz for the Under 8’s takes place in Milford, on this Friday the 30th May, with Gaoth Dobhair and Robert Emmetts also taking part
The Bridge was the venue for the first Under 10s blitz of the season on Saturday last. Numbers were small for the home team but the boys that were there put in spirited performances against the visiting Gaoth Dobhair, Cloghaneely and McCools teams. Connor Neely and Andy Ward being the stand out players. The next under 10’s blitz is on Saturday the 6th of June.
The under 12s continued there good start to the season with a hard fought win over local rivals Cloughaneely on Monday evening in Falcarragh. Carlos O’Reilly and Keith Stewart excelling for the first team and Aoife Kelly, Joshua Bradley and Leo Brennan also played well for the second team. The next under 12’s match is home to Fanad Gaels on Monday the 1st of June.
With the summer holidays just around the corner we are pleased to announce that Letterkenny Gaels will be holding summer camps in hurling, camogie and football. The U-14 Hurlers made their exit at the semi-final stage of the league last week at home to Setanta. Next up for the lads is a championship game at home to Carndonagh on the 5th. It was also great to see another Gaels player, Aaron Bradley, involved with the London GAA senior team in the Connaught championship against Galway. Jim Farrell is currently co-ordinating the Cash for Clobber fundraiser. This is a great way of raising much needed funds for the club and also helps unclutter your wardrobes. Thanks to St Eunans who hosted the blitz last Friday evening in the O’Donnell Park. Our U 9 team played two games against St Eunans and Milford, playing really well and winning both games. The U10 team played two games winning against St Eunans before losing to a very well drilled Milford side.
We are hosting a blitz this weekend, looks like it may be Friday evening, Martin will be in contact with all the parent’s of the children taking part via text during the week to confirm day and time, need plenty help please with the refreshments after the blitz.

The 60th Anniversary of Tír Conaill Park being opened will take place on Friday 6th June. The ground was officially opened on the 6th June 1954. Would you like your business to feature on our Killotto envelopes? Each year the club sells approximately 20,000 envelopes, reaching a huge audience on a weekly basis. This was a huge success for the club in 2013 and helped raise vital funds to maintain the facilities at Eamonn Byrne Memorial Park. The thirds continued their unbeaten run with a good victory over Naomh Conaill on Saturday evening last by a scoreline of 1-10 to 0-9.The winners of “the last man standing” are Ollie Horgan and Ryan Hunter who both recieve €125 each. The Reserves had a good victory away to St. Michaels.The under 14s are in the All County league final this Friday May 30th against Downings with time and venue to be confirmed. This is a fantastic achievement for our boys. A special congratulations to the 10s Community games team who are now through to Ulster. Anyone involved in underage teams in whatever capacity must return Garda vetting certificates to George Simmons as soon as possible. The treasurers have asked that any monies collected by underage managers to please hand it in as soon as possible. Finally, a hearty congratulations to county men Michael, Neil and Cormac for a job well done in the Ulster championship at Celtic Park, on Sunday.
The club’s 8k Fun Run/Walk takes place this Saturday, May 31st at 11am, beginning at our clubhouse. Registration from 10:30am, Adults €10, Children €5 and families €15. All welcome to attend and take part. This year sees the club celebrate its 40th anniversary. Ground work is currently being put into an event during the summer months and a date will be released soon. For the celebration we will be gathering old photographs, articles and memorabilia from the years gone by.
