Donegal fans in Ballybofey for meet and greet with players
The numbers that turned up in MacCumhaill Park, Ballybofey, for the annual Meet and Greet with the Donegal senior players may not have been as big as other years, but the enthusiasm of meeting their heroes was still strong.

The numbers that turned up in MacCumhaill Park, Ballybofey, for the annual Meet and Greet with the Donegal senior players may not have been as big as other years, but the enthusiasm of meeting their heroes was still strong.

The fans were treated to a light workout under Donegal team manager Jim McGuinness with one of the highlights being the attempts of Pat Shovlin to score a goal on Michael Murphy. Seconds earlier both Paul Durcan and Michael Boyle were successful in the one-on-one but sadly Shovlin was caught napping as Murphy was too quick off the line.

Afterwards the fans mingled with the players and the weather even stayed perfect for the occasion.

It was a morning for enjoyment. I’m quite sure the training sessions between now and Sunday week will be a little more intense!
