Ardara overcame an understrength St. Michael’s team at the Bridge on Saturday last after extra time.
The match was played in blustery conditions and playing with the strong wind in the first half the visitors led at the break. However in an exciting second half St. Michael’s came back strongly to level the match and had a chance to win the match with a 45 with the last kick in normal time however the ball came back of the post and went wide.
Ardara played strongly in extra time and they scored a penalty to open up a four point league.
St. Michael’s came back strongly in the second half of extra time and a goal from Oisin Langan reduced the arrears, however Ardara held on for the win.
