Shea Murrin will guide Killybegs fortunes in 2014 following his appointment as the club’s senior football team manager.
Murrin was a member of outgoing manager Martin ‘Slua’ Boyle’s backroom team last season. He replaces Boyle, who stepped down from the job at the end of last season after leading his charges to last year’s Donegal senior championship final. His appointment was ratified at the weekend.
Killybegs will play in Division Two of the All-County Football League after going the whole of last season without winning a game in Division One, a fact that is all the more amazing given their championship run to last October’s county final.
