As part of a Transition Year Programme, Hugh O’Donnell and Oisin O’Boyle fom St Eunan’s College in Letterkenny have set up a mini company where they are selling different GAA club crested gloves.

The students hope to make gloves for the Glenswilly, St Michael’s, St Eunan’s, Termon, Letterkenny Gaels and Convoy clubs. There is also St Eunans College gloves available for purchase.

“We are seeking permission from the clubs to use their crests,” said Oisin O’Boyle. “We collected the money off the students and teachers of the college last Friday and the gloves are in the process of being made.

“The order was sent off on Friday and the gloves will arrive before Friday, December 20, so they will be on the hands of the customers before Christmas.

“We probably will do another order after Christmas when we return to school. Ryan O’Neill from CMAC Gloves is our supplier and his gloves are top of the range quality. The price of the product is €15.”

The gloves are currently only available to clubs in the Letterkenny and surrounding areas at the minute but we will expand on this in the near future if other clubs contact are interested.

If any clubs from anywhere in Donegal are interested in this product, could they please contact Oisin at oisinoboyle@hotmail.com.
