Colaiste Na Carraige’s Ulster School’s McDevitt Cup quarter-final game with St Joseph’s, Enniskillen, today, in Irvinestown was abandoned at half-time.

The new Bawnacre all-weather pitch was deemed unplayable at half-time by referee Dermot Love, following a heavy fall of snow in the closing minutes of the first half.

The Donegal champions, who played with the aid of the driving wind and rain and sleet, led 2-8 to 0-0 at half-time. Gary Molloy and Gavin Moore had scored the goals and Lanty Molloy had kicked four points.

The game has been provisionally refixed for Monday week, February 24th.
