Former All-Star Tony Boyle, is the new Dungloe senior football manager and will guide the club’s fortunes for 2014.

The 1992 All-Ireland winner’s appointment was confirmed this afternoon by the club. He takes over from Eugene McGarvey, who stepped down from the job after just one year in the post.

This will be Boyle’s second stint in the job. He held it before for a number of seasons prior to Declan Bonner, who held the job for one year prior to McGarvey.

Ronan Brennan, a former Dungloe player, will act as Boyle’s number two and team coach/trainer.

McGarvey stepped down from the position to concentrate on the club’s U-16s who he guided to the county title last season.
