Maxi Curran’s Donegal U-21 side will open their Ulster championship campaign with a home quarter-final against Fermanagh.

Donegal, who last won the province in 2010 when Jim McGuinness was in charge, reached the final this year but went down 0-13 to 1-6 against a Cavan side who completed a three-in-a-row.

The defending champions have a tricky away preliminary round fixture against Derry at Celtic Park on Wednesday, March 12.

Seven nights later, the four quarter-finals will take place with Donegal welcoming Fermanagh, with the winners to face whoever comes out on top in the clash between Armagh and Antrim.

Monaghan welcome Down and Tyrone await the winners of the preliminary round.
