The club are running a ‘BUY A BLOCK’ fundraiser drive for the development of the new club house. In the Division Two promotion playoff replay the seniors were unlucky to lose out to Termon by two points.A remembrance mass for the deceased of the club will be held in the GAA Centre on the 22nd of November. Congratulations to our very own Karen Ward who has won herself an All-Star.

All parents, players past and present, and new people in our community are asked to consider coming to help coach or help out with our underage teams.

The senior board AGM will take place on Sunday 24th November at 6 pm. The club’s dinner dance is scheduled for Saturday 16th November at the Mount Errigal Hotel in Letterkenny. The club dinner dance is set for Friday 29th November - €22.50 for adults and €11.00 for children (U16). Music this year is by ‘The Yetis’. County players will be in attendance with Eamon Mc Gee from Gaobh Dobhair and Donegal confirmed. Night will include ladies and gents player of the year awards, plus other awards on the night tickets are available from Bridget Harkin, Liam Skelly, Seamus Hegarty, or Ciaron McKenna or any committee member. Best value night out this side of Christmas with a great band thrown in for good measure.
The club AGM will take place in the clubhouse on Friday 6th December starting at 8pm. All nominations and motions are to be with the secretary (Sean Faulkner) in writing before 30th November.
There was no jackpot winner this week drawn on the 4th of November. The numbers were 3, 16, 19 and 23. The €50 runner-up prize goes to Liam and Kay Skelly. Next week’s jackpot will be €1,000.
Congratulations to Moville minor ladies who progressed to the semi final of the Ulster Ladies Minor Championship with an empathic win over Kinawley from Fermangh on Sunday, in Malin.
Congratulations to Tony McClennaghan who played for Colaite Inis Eoghain in their McLarnon Cup win over Keady on Tuesday last. Their next game is this Tuesday versus St Louis Kilkeel, in Garvaghy, Tyrone at 2 pm. Congratulations to Sarah Jane McDonald and Blathaid Mc Laughlin who won Ulster Schools All-Stars in the past week. U-6 player of the week this week was Pauric Peto. U-8 players of the week were Oisin McKinney, Daithi Peto and Cahir McElhinney. U-8, U-10 and U-12 girls and boys underage presentation will take place in Clubhouse on Friday 13th December from 7-9pm. Toddlers and U6s presentation will occur after their training session on Saturday 14th December.
The annual dinner will take place on Saturday Novermber 30th, in the Malin Hotel.
Doors open at 7 o’clock and meal will be served at 8 o’clock sharp. Music will be provided by John Jack. Tickets are priced at just €20 and are availabe from any committee member.The clubhouse was packed to capacity on Saturday night for our first ever Townland Challenge. 28 townlands, from all corners of the parish took part in a general knowledge quiz, with all the questions based on the parish of Malin. After 12 tense and more often than not, humorous rounds, Killian and Ballynahona were tied for first place, with Ballynahona eventually coming out on top after a tie break. We would like to thank everyone who took part and helped to make the night such a success, to Pat the quizmaster who kept everyone entertained, the raffle ticket sellers, Malin Hotel who sponsored one of the prizes.
Many of our club members are putting their razors away for the month of November, to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society.
The club shop will be open in the clubhouse on Saturdays from 12-2 and on Sundays from 11-15 to 1-30 pm. There was no winner of this weeks lotto jackpot of €1100. The sequence drawn was 7-4-2-6-1-3-5. The €50 winner was Mary McDermott (M) Bunn. The €20 sellers prize went to Niamh Douglas, Bunn. Next weeks jackpot stands at €1,150.
The club have just opened a Good as New downstairs in the clubhouse on Saturday between the hours of 12 and 6, All monies will help to raise funds to purchase equiment for our new club.
Over the next few weeks we will be running an evening of basketball leagues/matches. All ladies within the area are invited to take part, no experience necessary, just a fun fitness session.
The club will hold a “Night at the Races” this Saturday, November 16th, in MacLaughlin’s Bar. Cards for the final race of the night are available from all the committee members and adult footballers before the event. The Club are running a charity event for November or more commonly known as Movember, here the idea is that each of the men below, grow a moustache for the month of November and in the process gather sponsorship that goes towards men’s health and specifically cancer reseach. The Lotto sellers for 16th November, Dunfanaghy William Sheridan and Thomas O’Donnell, Creeslough Dominic Carr and Francie Brennan. The big night ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ is over and it proved to be an outstanding success. The Abbey ballroom was packed full and no one went home disappointed. Every dancer was a winner on the night as each one trained as hard as each other and put on their best performances. The overall winners on the night were Shannon White and Peadar Mogan. All the local papers should have some coverage of the night. The club would like to thank you all for your support and making it a night to remember. A big thanks goes to the judges on the night, all the behind the stage help and especially too the patient dance teacher Marian Shields and the minor board executives Joe Brennan and Deirdre Griffin.

Congratulations to the U- 21 team on winning the county championship against Naomh Conaill last Sunday in Fintra. This was a great way to end the season for the club, players, supporters and manager John McNulty whose U-21 side has now won two titles in three years.

The U-16 boys team are now through to the county final against Termon after their win over Carndonagh on Sunday,in O’ Donnell Park. With a great team effort they prevailed, winning 2-15 to 2-5. The Final will be played on Sunday 17th November.The club presentation evening, organised by Bord na nÓg will be held in Dom’s Pier 1on Sunday 24th November. The event runs from 6 pm-8 pm. The club is running a Couch to 5k programme at the clubhouse. It’ll run every Tuesday and Thursday at 7.17pm and lasts approx 45 mins. Its only €2 a session. The club underage presentation night will take place in Milford Parochial on Saturday 16th November from 6.30pm to 8pm.
The double double, the quadruple, call it what you will,the Ladies 8-11 to 3-2 defeat of Aodh Ruadh today meant a clean sweep of the county for our mens and ladies teams. The win sealed the Division 2 title.
The senior men face Killeeshil of Tyrone in the Ulster semi-final next Sunday, in Enniskiellen. All support for this game would be greatly appreciated and seats for the supporters bus can be booked by contacting 086-3400082 or the club facebook page.

Tickets for this years dinner dance will be launched at the underage presentation night on Saturday 16th of November in the Milford Parochial Hall. Music on the night will be provided by Paul McCahill and DJ Mo. The Club will be having a Christmas party for the senior mens and ladies teams. The two teams will be going out together to do the 12 pub of Chirstmas trail. We will be travelling from Milford to Ballyare, Ramelton and Rathmullan before finishing off back in Milford. Everyone is asked to meet in Milford first, rather than being picked up along the way.The bus will leave Milford at 6.30pm on Saturday the 14th, it is important to arrive (well) before that. Should be a great nights craic for the two teams, and there may even be some spot prizes.
