Aodh Ruadh are Donegal minor hurling champions once again after defeating Buncrana, in yesterday evening’s final in O’Donnell Park.

The champions laid the foundation for the win in the first half as they led by six points, 2-9 to 1-6, at half-time thanks to goals from Jamie Brennan and Colm Kelly and some brilliant point taking from Brennan, Eddie Lynch and Oisin Rooney.
Kelly scored the second goal from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time after a Buncrana defender was deemed to have thrown the ball clear. The penalty was Aodh Ruadh’s second of the game ;Kelly driving the first over the bar.
Brennan was in sizzling form at centre half-forward. Jack O’Loughlin with three points and David Doherty with the goal did the bulk of the scoring for B uncrana
Aodh Ruadh took complete control in the second half adding three more goals, two from Shane McGrath and one from man of the match Jamie Brennan.
