The winning Lotto numbers for Monday 12th August were 1, 8, 15, and 19. There was no jackpot winner this week and the runner-up prize of €50 went to Tony and Bridie, Trawlerman. Next week’s jackpot will be €3,900. The U-14 girls had a good win over McCumhaills and the senior men recorded their third league win in a row on Saturday evening defeating Convoy on a score of 2-12 to 1-12.
The senior ladies team defeated Glenfin by a score of 3-10 to 2-11 on Sunday.
The ladies played Steelstown in challenge game Wednesday night and won by score line of 6-10 to 4-6.
The minor girls championship kicks off over next few weeks with games against Muff and St Eunans.
The club are seeking members to volunteer their time on a Monday night at Bingo to help out with the club Lotto. Also, anyone who could help out at home games by acting as umpire please contact any club member or just turn up on the night and volunteer.
Match and win for number drawn 3,17,18,19. The jackpot winner next week is €2,140. The €15 consolation winners were Susan McGonagle, Ballyliffin, Dan Harkin Carndonagh, Kathleen and Rian Porter, Collon Carndonagh.
The Junior A final is on Sunday 25th August at 3 pm in O’Donnell Park Letterkenny against Milford.
The next club meeting is this week on Wednesday 21st August at 8.30pm.
Tickets are now on sale at €5 a ticket or 3 tickets for €10 in the club development draw.

A bad day all round for Glenfin on Sunday, as our Ladies, reserves and seniors were all beaten. The Ladies were beaten by Moville in Carndonagh while the reserves and seniors lost to Naomh Muire in Annagry.
Tir Chonaill Gaels
The senior team have had mixed fortunes in the league in recent weeks with a win against Parnells and a defeat to Neasden Gaels.
After falling behind to two early goals against Parnells the Gaels fought back to win by 2-16 to 2-6.
Last Sunday in our final league game against Neasden we played poorly in the opening half to trail by 2-8 to 0-4 at the break. A better performance from the boys in the second half seen us reduce the score line but not enough to close the gap and we lost by a 2-13 to 1-11 margin.
The junior team played the final group match in the championship against Eir Og and won 2-16 to 0-5 to qualify for the semi-final against Dulwich.
It has been a six year wait but our U- 21 team have at last returned the championship cup back to Greenford after a trilling final encounter against Parnells.
A big congratulations to our ladies team after they picked up their first trophy of the season after winning the Joe Fryday, 7s Shield last weekend against St Anthonys in Greenford.
The numbers drawn in the Lotto were 2-9-10-13. There were no jackpot winners. The £25 lucky dip winners were Mick Scrap, c/o Three Wishes, Pat Nagle, c/o T O Connor, Paddy Callaghan, c/o TCG, JFM, c/o British Queen. The Under 16’s play their first championship game at home on Monday the 26th of August in Rosses Park at 7pm against Ardara.
A social night is being organised for Saturday 7th September to mark 30 years of GAA in the area. A sports quiz is planned for Friday 27th September. The club would like to extend its sympathies to the McLoone family on their recent Bereavement.

This week’s Lotto numbers were 10, 19, 12, 22, 17. The three numbers winners were Clement Clarke, Gerry McCrudden and Alice Devenney who win €25 each.
Royal Flush Draw results for the weekend of 19/08/2013 were 9, 10, 12 & 21. There was no winner of the jackpot of €1780. Consolation prizes went to Pauric Howley, Roy Adair and Pauric NcInern. Next week’s draw will take place in Mac’s Bar and the jackpot will now be €1820. The reserve side had a good victory on Saturday evening in MacCumhaill Park where they defeated Urris by 0-15 to 1-07 in their Junior B Championship quarter final fixture. The draw for the semi final was made Sunday evening and the team has been paired with Ardara.
The ladies lost out to Killybegs in the second leg of the Championship. The final scoreline read 6- 5 to 2-1, with Catherine Grant and Claire Mc Laughlin providing the goals and Emer Lafferty delivering the point. details to follow later.
Happy Birthday to our club chairman David Gallagher who celebrated a very special birthday during the week. David asked us not to give out his actual age and we wouldn’t dare go against the wishes of our devoted chairman.By the way in case you were wondering David, the Number 1 single in the UK Charts on this day in 1953 was Frankie Lane with I Believ.

Well done to Amy Laverty who represented Donegal in the half-time games in Croke Park on Sunday. Amy is one of only two Donegal girls picked to play in the games. Amy plays Camogie and football for Mac Cumhaills and is a credit to our club.
Well done also to Adam Lynch and Karl Dunnion who played for the Donegal U-15 in Mayo at the weekend.

Good luck to county U-17 footballers John, Christian, Odhran and manager Declan as they play in the McGuigan Cup semi final this Saturday in Maghera, Co Derry. They play Monaghan in the semi final at 12pm with the winners to play Tyrone or Armagh at 1.30pm.
The club are hosting a grand prize draw in November. Tickets are 5 euro each or 3 for 5 euro. A committee member will call to your house in the coming weeks. Tickets will soon be availablle in local shops and pubs.

The U-16 lost at home to St Michaels. The junior ladies lost away to St Nauls and the senior men lost at home to Moville

There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 2, 3, 4,and 5. Two prizes of €50 went to Patrick Brennan, Shallogans and Lorraine Gallagher, Sandfield. Next weeks jackpot is €3,500.
The U-15 team were defeated in the semi final of the regional Og Sport. They had beaten Dungloe and St Nauls to reach the semi final where they lost by two points to Ardara.
Well done to the U16 s who defeated Aodh Ruadh by two points in the league.
Well done to the reserve team who are through to the county semi final after they overcame St Eunans in the quarter final.They now play Four Masters in the semi final this Sunday evening at 6pm in MacCumhaill Park.
The seniors lost away to strong St. Eunans team at the weekend, without up to ten first team players.
The names of the St. Michael’s Lotto sellers for 24th August are; Dunfanaghy, Nicola Ferry and Andrea Boyce, Creeslough, Suzi Roarty and Ann Marie Kelly.
Anyone who cannot do this important weekly task for the club is asked to get a replacement on the night.
St. Michael’s under 16’s met Red Hughs at the Bridge recently. St. Michaels took the lead early in the game, but Red Hughs continued to challenge. With a great team performance St. Michael’s came away convincing winners by 5-10 to 1-6.
The U-10s played their last blitz of the season on Friday hosting both St. Eunans and Gweedore. They secured wins over Gweedore and lost to bigger St. Eunans teams. Overall a most enjoyable amd memorable evening was had by all where a dozen of our players wore their under 10 shirts for the last time.
The U-10s travelled to Glenties on Wednesday 14th August for a blitz with the home side and Aodh Ruadh. The two teams played exceptionally well to win all four games against strong opposition.
They followed that with a trip to Bundoran on Saturday 17th to take on the hosts and St Nauls. Again they excelled, winning three of the four games they competed in. The Under 10s will travel on Saturday 24th August to Robert Emmets for a friendly.
The minors will take on St. Eunan’s in Lifford on Wednesday 21st in Lifford.
There was no winner of the Lotto this week. The two weekly winners were; Eunan Gallagher, St. Ernan’s and C. Maloney, C/O Liam Mullen’s Shop. Both won €50 each. The winning numbers were 2, 3, 12 and 13. Next weeks lotto now stands at €1400.

The senior team had a dominant victory over neighbours Termon at the Burn road on Sunday.
The 3rd team had on overwhelming victory over Muff in the quarter final of the Junior B Championship on a score of 3-16 to 1-03 in O’Donnell park on Saturday evening past.
The minor team lost out in the divisional final to Downings last Friday evening on a score of 1-8 to 0-8 played at Portsalon.
The U-16s recorded a victory over Moville on Monday night(19th August) in Glenswilly in a league fixture.
The lotto numbers for this week were 5,14,16 and 19. Match 3 winner is Ultan Feely, Churchill. Next week seller is Thomas Simmons.
The U-16s will face Naomh Mhuire in the league on Friday evening at Páirc na nGael. They then contest the preliminary round of the Championship on Monday evening next, when they will travel to Ballyshannon with Aodh Ruadh. The U-13 are in action on Sunday, when they will host Naomh Ultan at Páirc na nGael. The ladies championship home tie with Letterkenny Gaels was cancelled on Sunday last, and will now take place on Thursday evening.
The senior men have a free weekend, while our reserves are in league action on Saturday evening.

The U10s and U8s have games at home on Saturday 31st against Muff at 11.30am. U16s were beaten by 2 points by Fanad Gaels, U15s will play Og sport next Saturday at 11am. The Parish League will start Friday 6th of September for U9s and U11s, starting at 6pm. The Ladies were defeated in their last game against Aodh Ruadh at home on Sunday. The final score was Aodh Rua 1-11 Cloughaneely 1-6. Cloughaneely scorers were Karen Feeney, Andrea Cox and Laura Mc Garvey one point each, Laura Gallagher (1-3). The reserves and seniors were both beaten by Mac Cumhaills in their League games last Sunday.
The minor boys footballers turned in a great display last week v Buncrana to win the Northern Board championship.
The senior reserves narrowly lost their championship quarter-final replay to Naomh Conaill on Saturday.
The Juniors lost to neighbours, the Gaels in their championship quarter- final match and will be disappointed after leading by four points early in the second half and missing a last minute penalty to get a draw.
The seniors continued their good form with a big win over St. Michael’s in the league on Sunday. They take on Four Masters away this weekend with day and time tbc.
The minor girls recorded a good win over Naomh Padraig, Muff in their opening championship match and they take on Moville next Tuesday at home in their next game.
The U16 Division One team had a good win over Red Hugh’s on Monday night and travel to Burt this Friday before finishing their league away to Glenfin next Monday (26th). The Division Two team made the short trip to the Glebe and had a good win over the Gaels.
U-13 football gets underway on Sunday, September 1st with the games set for 11:30am.
The U-16 Hurlers defeated Carndonagh in a tough encounter last Thursday to reach the League A semi-final which will be played away this Thursday away to Aodh Ruadh at 7pm.
The U-12 Hurlers had no game last Thursday as Carndonagh didn’t field. This Thursday they play away to Letterkenny Gaels.
This Saturday we will host the Gary Doyle Cup for U-11 footballers with teams coming from Lavey (Derry), St. Mary’s (Sligo), Naomh Conaill, Buncrana, Naomh Colmcille and Termon. The action gets underway at 10:30am with the Final set for shortly after 2.30pm.
There was one winner in this week’s Lotto draw. Peter Cunningham (card) matched 3 numbers and wins €100. Numbers drawn were: 12-20-21-22. Next week’s jackpot is €3,575.
There was no winner of last week’s lotto Jackpot. Open draw winners were Mary Ellen, Connell McGrenra and Theresa McGratten. Next week’s draw takes place in The Lagoon and the Jackpot stands at €3,550.
The Senior Ladies face Glenfin in the county semi-final this Sunday 25th August in Glenswilly.
The Junior Ladies were defeated by Buncrana in the Junior Championship last weekend.
On Sunday the U6s provided the half time entertainment at The Burn Road during the senior game against Glenswilly. Given the mood among the home support at that stage of the game.
Well done to Lee Doherty, Enda McCormick and James McSharry who played for Donegal U-15s in the “blitz” in the Connaught Centre of Excellence in Ballyhaunis. This Saturday our U15s travel to take part in the Og Sport blitz, in Dunfanaghy.
On Monday evening the U-16 boys continued on their winning ways with a convincing victory over Cloughaneely team. Once the lads took the lead they never looked back and led by eight at half time. Two converted penalties brought the visitors back into the game but several superb point blank saves by goalkeeper Shay McElwaine and goals from Caolan McDaid, Enda McCormick and the very impressive James McSharry ensured another two points and maintains the momentum towards a Northern league final.
The U11 boys have been invited to a tournament in O’Donnell Park this Saturday.

This year’s Cul Camp took place last week in what was undoubtedly the best Cul camp that we have had to date. With 65 children in attendance, the rain on Monday morning failed to dampen the spirits and thankfully the rest of the week remained rain free.
Over the next few weeks we will be distributing fivelotto tickets to each underage player from U-8 to minor in an attempt to assist with funding our minor board activities.The lotto jackpot is currently €3550 so while supporting our fundraising you are also in with a chance to win this jackpot.
Na Cealla Beaga
The Ladies had great win at home to Malin in the championship on Sunday last and are now through to the county semi final.
The Club held an U-8 Blitz last Saturday with Na Cealla Beaga, Naomh Columba and Ard Na Ratha taking part and six very enjoyable games.
The Killotto had no winner this week. Next week’s jackpot is €1,350. This week’s sellers are Aisling Murrin’s team. There was no winner of the Bingo and next week’s Jackpot is €1,550 on 46 numbers.
Slotto: Saturday 10th numbers drawn were 2,1,3,7,4,6,5. No winner, the closest to correct sequence was Jim Kennedy, The Port, Inver. Saturday 17th numbers drawn were 2, 1, 4, 6, 3, 7, 5. No winner, the closest to correct sequence was Maria Morgan, Inver Village. Next week’s Jackpot is €720.
The Family fun day was a great success for the first year in a while that it has been run. The highlight of the day was the St. Peter’s NS. reunited band marching into the grounds with some of our underage players marching behind them. The afternoon then seen all age groups taking part in a range of different races and even the muns and dads took part in some races for the delight of the kids. The club would like to thank everyone who attended and made the day a great one. A special tanks to those who helped out on the day serving teas, coffees, burgers, organizing the races, the girls in the shop and arts and crafts room and to all those who baked and made all the nice things to go with the tea.
