For the second time within the last fortnight a second body has been found off the rocks in one of the most scenic areas of Bundoran.

The body of Jim Kelly (73) from Invinestown, Fermanagh was found close to the “Nun’s Pool” in the West End.

Cllr. Michael McMahon who lives close to Mr. Kelly’s holiday home in Dinglei Coush in Bundoran said, “The whole town is shocked - Jim was a popular quiet man in the community and had a good word for everybody.

“He hadn’t been in the best of health recently and had been suffering from dizzy spells - only recently he was taken to hospital after suffering a dizzy spell. I think he may have suffered another spell and sadly fell. I would like to extend the sympathies of the people of Bundoran to all his family.”

Gardaí in Ballyshannon have confirmed that they are not investigating any suspicious circumstances.
