Evy is a cabaret singer whose career, marriage and health have all been destroyed by alcohol. Having just completed a ten week stint in rehab she returns home to the welcome of friends all of whom have their own problems. Jimmy is a gay actor in danger of losing a part in a play. Toby is an overly vain woman who lives in fear of losing her looks. Polly, her devoted but anxious daughter and Lou, Evy’s worthless ex-lover merely add to the dysfunction. Can Evy stay on the wagon or will she career towards a tragic end?

Crackling with the hilarious one-liners that are acclaimed author Neil Simon’s trademark, The Gingerbread Lady is a simultaneously hilarious and gripping comic-drama. Bookings 074 913 1840 balorartscentre.com
