The weekend storm now christened “Storm Brigid” by many in Bundoran continued into the early hours of this morning (Sunday) with most residents now hoping that they had seen the worst of it.
Once again the seafront on the West End bore the brunt of it but there was minimal additional damage. Many onlookers had gathered from early this morning to capture spectacular images of the gigantic waves crashing against the shore.
Meanwhile just a few miles away in Mullaghmore big wave surfers were once again setting new standards as they surfed some of the biggest waves in Europe.
