A call has been made for the minister for health to establish a public inquiry into the flooding at Letterkenny General Hospital last summer. Dozens of patients were left on trolleys waiting for beds last week.
Former mayor of Donegal, Cllr. Frank McBrearty Jnr, said there should be “accountability for the disaster that has happened to Letterkenny General Hospital”. “When a full independent judicial public inquiry is established the people of Donegal need to demand a proper set of terms of reference that will leave no stone unturned,” he said.
