The Milford Inn is open to again tomorrow after being closed for more than six months.
Friday’s reopening comes after the hotel was purchased by a consortium and an agreement was reached to lease the hotel back to the Blaney family.
The hotel went into voluntary liquidation in April 2nd and was on the market for 800,000 euro.
The premises is to re-open on a phased basis with just the bar and dining rooms opening initially with the creation of around 20 jobs.
The deal between liquidator Tom O’Brien of Mazars, Dublin and Farren and Roarty Accountants will see the Blaney family lease-back the premises from the investment company.
The hotel will be managed by Neal Blaney and his family and will operate as the Milford Inn Ltd.
