McGowan and Crawford as expected selected for Fianna Fáil in Stranorlar

Patrick McGowan and Gerry Crawford, as expected, have been selected by Fianna Fáil tonight to contest the Stranorlar area in the May county council elections.

The convention was chaired by MEP Pat the Cope Gallagher and there were only two on the ticket and both were nominated as had been predicted.

“This went very much as expected this evening,” said MEP Pat the Cope Gallagher, who chaired the selection convention.

Both are sitting councillors in the Stranorlar area along with Cllrs Frank mcBrearty, Independent, Gary doherty, Sinn Féin and Martin Harley, Fine Gael.
