The rain stayed away with even slight glimpses of sunshine breaking through as up on 3,000 people attended the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade in Donegal Town.
From around 12 noon many visitors converged on the Eske-side town including a large contingent from Scotland, England, Germany. the US and even Japan for this colourful event which just improves year after year.
The effort put into the parade was obvious from the sheer organisation and the work put into the floats and the costumes of all the participating children.
