Massachusetts business figures attend seminar

Influential figures from the Massachusetts business community will be in Letterkenny today to take part in an economic and enterprise development seminar which is being hosted by Donegal County Council.

The seminar at the Letterkenny Institute of Technology will hear from Tim Murray from the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce and former Lieutenant Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; Jon Mahoney from the Boston Irish Business Association; Ann Burke from the Economic Development Council of Western Massachusetts; Dawn Creighton Western MA Regional Director for Associated Industries and Finola Cunningham Head of Commercial Section in the US Embassy.

Speaking before the event Michael O’hÉanaigh, Director of Services with Donegal County Council, said the event is a great way to explore opportunities for partnership with businesses in the US. “We are delighted to be in a position to host this conference which has been made possible through our connections with the Golden Bridges Awards and our ongoing Donegal Diaspora project.”
