With New Year’s resolutions still very much alive a “determined dozen” in Bundoran are all set to shed those surplus Christmas pounds.

Following on the success of the popular “Operation Transformation” the group have decided that they only way to succeed was to form a group where everybody could encourage each other.

Peter McIntrye of the Allingham Arms said,” We can all individually have the best of intentions but when we have one watching the other I think we’ll get through it. I even have the father-in-law Sean roped in to get him fit for the local elections.”

The group have set themselves a target of twelve weeks to complete this arduous task and have pledged all the proceeds from their challenge to the very worthy Oznam House in Bundoran
