Lidl will open its second Letterkenny store on Thursday, 27th February with a new store opening on Port Road.

Ten new staff have been recruited from the locality to service the new store which will be opened by Donegal Captain Michael Murphy.

The new store boasts an in-store bakery delivering delicious freshly baked breads and pastries every day. With over 70 car parking spaces, the Cathedral Town store is perfectly placed to serve the surrounding area with top quality food and fantastic non-food specials at affordable prices every week.

Niall Nash, Sales Operations Manager said: “We can’t wait for Michael Murphy to kick off celebrations at our new Letterkenny store. Highland Radio will also be on hand for the launch day with a live broadcast from 1.30-3.30 to update listeners on the festivities. We have a range of special offers and exciting activities planned including a Lidl Wheel of Fortune giving customers the chance to win €50 shopping vouchers.”
