With just over 6 weeks away to the Cara 10 Challenge in Bundoran registrations are already at a record level and expectations are high that it will exceed last year’s record number of 1,200 competitors.

Canice Nicholas of Cara said, “We are more than happy with the registrations to date but we now want to encourage people to take part in the run/walk on the Friday night. “This is for all the family and we are encouraging people to dress up in fancy dress and get into a festive mood. We will have a great fireworks display and a lot of fun on the night before the serious stuff starts on Saturday.

“All proceeds are going to the local NYP which performs a great service to the local community.”

Information for the weekend’s events available at www.carabundoranrun.com. This event is taking place in association with media sponsor the Donegal Democrat.
