Emergency Department at Letterkenny Hospital to re-open on 12 March

The Emergency Department at Letterkenny Hospital will re-open to patients on Wednesday 12 March at 8am. Patients are asked to continue using the interim Emergency Department in the meantime.

Mr Sean Murphy, General Manager, Letterkenny General Hospital said, “I would like to advise all patients that our Emergency Department will be open to patients from Wednesday week, 12 March.

“The Minister for Health, Dr James Reilly TD visited the hospital today to see the progress we have made with the rebuild works which include the Emergency Department and the Acute Medical Assessment Unit.

“We are looking forward to welcoming patients back to these areas of the hospital next week. I would like to thank our patients for their co-operation throughout the rebuild programme.”
