Michael Tunney, CEO, County Enterprise Board, cuts the cake to mark the launch of Enterprising Donegal Business Week 2014.

The launch took place in Letterkenny today of the 10th annual Enterprising Donegal Business Week which takes place next month.

Organised in conjunction with its enterprise partners in Donegal and event partner Sendmode, the week-long programme of free events once again aims to inspire and motive people to consider starting their own business.

The week’s programme will run at venues across the county from Monday, March 3rd to Friday, March 7th with workshops, seminars and other interesting events.

Some of the guest speakers were among the special guests at today’s launch at which Michael Tunney, CEO of County Enterprise Board, outlined details of the forthcoming business week.

“Over the past ten years we have had a significant range of international, national and local speakers so that we always maintain a focus on local success stories as well as drawing on the experience and expertise and the stories of others from outside of the county,” he said.

John McNamara, CEO of event partners, Sendmode, also addressed today’s launch and said Enterprising Donegal Business Week has some fantastic events planned.

“We’ve always found it very informative, enjoyable and extremely motivational,” he said. “The combination of top class speakers, strategic workshops and time to network informally during breaks presents fantastic opportunities to make contacts, develop business knowledge and motivate ourselves and our business team.”
