Three local men are attempting a phenomenal challenge - cycling the length of Ireland non-stop in 24 hours - to raise funds for MS Ireland.

All funds raised will be split between the Donegal and Fermanagh branches the Multiple Sclerosis Society Ireland/Northern Ireland. This charity was an easy decision for the three lads, as Aidan is managing MS himself.

They’ve been putting in some serious training hours in all sorts of conditions since October and are now taking in long cycles, night cycles and hill work. A cycle to Ballina, Lifford, Derry or to Boyle and back is all part of a day’s training for these guys .

You can help them by coming along to the Lakeside Centre in Ballyshannon this Saturday from around 6.30pm, to see the arrival of the fundraising Bed Push from Bundoran to Ballyshannon, followed by the official launch of the Mizen to Malin in 24 hours non-stop challenge. There will also be a Car Wash day with the NI Fire Service in Belleek on June 14.

Sponsorship cards are in circulation, or donate via anyAIB branch to Mizen-Malin non stop for M.S. (IBAN – IE46AIBK93718514442040), or online at mizentomalin.
