A body has been recovered from the sea at Creevy, close to Ballyshannon on Saturday afternoon.

It is believed that a party of people discovered the body at around 4 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. The body has not, as yet, been identified.

The Killybegs Coastyard and Bundoran Lifeboat were at the scene.

Searches have been ongoing in the area over the past couple of weeks for a woman who went missing at Bundoran. Siobhan McGread, aged 51, went missing at Roguey Walk, Bundoran, on February 19th. The Garda Press Office issued a statement last week seeking the assistance of the public in their search for the missing woman.
