Ireland’s longest serving Co. Councillor put it up to those who had not yet “answered the call” and took a very chilly drenching today on Bundoran’s seafront.

Cllr. Sean McEniff who is well known to be fond of a good challenge be it political, physical or otherwise donned his beloved Donegal colours and took the full brunt of the ice poured on him by his son in law Peter McIntyre and friend Frankie O’Gorman.

Sean had been nominated by Cara’s Canice Nicholas and he in turn nominated publican Noel Madden, former Ballyshannon Cllr. Seán Og Kane and Fine Gael’s former Cllr. Eugene Dolan.

Sean said, “It’s up to all you younger bucks to get it done now - as soon as I can get warm I’m away to support Jim, Declan and the lads.
