Vigilance after CAP vote - Harkin

MEP Marian Harkin has urged the farmers’ organisations concerned with the agriculture and rural development sectors to be vigilant in monitoring the implementation of measures under the reformed Common Agricultural Policy which was voted through in the European Parliament on Wednesday. “Parliament has voted on the new CAP but those affected by it need to be aware that the way in which the policy will be implemented will be strongly influenced by the ‘delegated acts’ being developed by the European Commission,” she said.
