Charles Gerard Ward (37), with an address at 49 Ballymacool Woods, Letterkenny, was sentenced to two years in prison which was substituted with 240 hours community service after he pleaded guilty to assault causing harm to Charles McDonagh at Canal Road in Letterkenny August 8th, 2009.
