Just what is the story with the up coming EU Fiscal Treaty Referendum?

That’s one of the questions to exercise the minds of guests on tomorrow’s “Saturday with Charlie Bird” on RTE Radio 1, which will be broadcast live from The Abbey Arts Centre in Ballyshannon from 1.30pm.

MEP Marian Harkin, Dr Brian O’Boyle, a lecturer at St. Angela’s College, Sligo, TDs Joe McHugh and Thomas Pringle will debate the issues with Charlie while the show will also cover a wide range of other issues and the emerging stories of the day.

Other guests on the show include the CEO of the Killybegs Fishermen’s Organisation, Seán O’Donoghue and Anne Dorrian, chair of the Killybegs Information Centre, who will look at positive developments in employment and tourism in the fishing port.

Local Ballyshannon Mayor John Meehan and former Ballyshannon town councillor and businesswoman Mae Kelly are among an eclectic mix of guests on Charlie’s show which promises to offer a lively mix of news, discussion and debate.
