RTÉ’s At Your Service, the series which sees the dynamic Brennan brothers helping hospitality businesses in need, is now looking for the next set of businesses needing their help... and they want to come to Donegal!
Once again the Brennan brothers are on the search for B&Bs, hotels, guesthouses, hostels, caravan and campsites around Ireland that are desperate to get their premises into shape, make their businesses work better and improve their balance sheets.
In the past on At Your Service the Brennans have helped a wide range of properties, including a 126-room city hotel, a Georgian country house, a caravan park, an equestrian holiday centre and a rural 4-bedroom farmhouse. Now the Brennans and the At Your Service team are inviting interested B&Bs, hotels, guesthouses, hostels, caravan parks and campsites to apply to be featured in the next series.
Of course, it’s a very challenging economic landscape but the Brennans have proved time and again that they can breathe new life into struggling businesses. Francis and John own and run the 5 star Park Hotel Kenmare and they bring many years of personal experience in the hotel trade to each property they visit. They inspect rooms, appraise staff, scrutinize menus, organise relaunches, coordinate marketing events, invite in experts (such as interior designers) and bring a whole new vision for the future.
Speaking exclusively to Donegal on Sunday the brothere said they’d love to come to help Donegal businesses.
“We would love to get more applications for ‘At Your Service’ from B&Bs, hotels, guesthouses andf other hospitality businesses in Donegal, We’ve filmed all over Ireland and we’d lve to film now with Donegal based businesses. It’s an area of outstanding natural beauty, a truly world class setting for any business and we want to encourage people to visit and to discover more about whats on offer in the region.
Francis has become famous for his meticulous attention to detail, whilst John brings a sharp financial and marketing ability. Together they identify the potential in each of the businesses they visit and devise cost-effective solutions to problems. The Brennans strongly believe that businesses must focus on their unique qualities and highlight these in order to attract guests. They tackle the areas that need most attention and investigate new ways to make money, focussing on the all-important bottom line.
The new shows will be filmed this year, with the final programmes transmitting on RTÉ in 2013. If you would like an application form or any further information, contact: Maggi Gibson, Executive Producer, e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone (048) 90427646
