The application would see the construction of a third level sports college which includes the construction of lecture theatres, classrooms, a library, gymnasium and other ancillary facilities at Kiltoy on the site of the former Unifi complex. MCR Personnell has made the planning application for the development as part of an amendment to a previous application.

Meanwhile in Falcarragh, Donegal County Council has received planning application for the construction of 26 dwellings. Hone Brothers have applied for planning permission to build the homes at Ballyness, Falcarragh. In Dungloe, Pat Gallagher has applied for planning to make changes to a previously granted planning permission which would see the premises formally known as the Bridge Inn, Main Street, Dungloe altered.

In Bridgend further information has been requested on the erection of a two storey data centre building at the Kelvin Science and Technology Park.
