A Letterkenny based dentist earned over 87.000 euro in the state subsidised PRSI scheme which is administered by the Department of Social Protection.
Terence Fox, who operates at Main Street, Letterkenny, earned 87,539 euro from the scheme, the ‘Irish Independent’ newspaper reported yesterday.
Four dentists throughout the country received over 100,000 euro each for treating patients under the scheme. The top earner was Colm Smith of Cootehill, County Cavan, who received 180,385 euro. A total of 1,679 dentists are signed up to treat PRSI holders.
