The Mayor of Bundoran, Sinn Féin Cllr. Michael McMahon says he’s “very critical” of the fact that an ATM in the town was out of operation during the entire Sea Sessions Festival.
“I’ve had many complaints that the Bank of Ireland ATM was off the whole weekend. As mayor of this town, I am very critical at the way that this was handled. It caused a great deal of inconvenience for the thousands of visitors who came to the town for the weekend especially for the festival. In fact, it put so much pressure on the other ATM that it, too, eventually went out of commission.
“I’m not trying to pick on Bank of Ireland but it is not at all satisfactory that the ATM was out of order all weekend. I will be making enquiries into how this happened to ensure that it doesn’t happen again.”
