An allegation of drink driving against Senator Brian Ó Domhnaill has been adjourned again.

An allegation of drink driving against Senator Brian Ó Domhnaill has been adjourned again.

Mr Ó Domhnaill (37) of Killult, Falcarragh is charged with drink driving, hit and run failing to report an occurrence, hit and run failing to remain at the scene and hit and run failing to give appropriate information.

The offences are alleged to have occurred at Tullygay, Letterkenny on September 2nd, 2013.

Speaking in Irish, Solicitor for Mr Ó Domhnaill, John Cannon, requested an adjournment due to another case in the High Court.

Judge Paul Kelly said the State have yet to file a defence in that case, which involves similar circumstances.

The case against the Fianna Fáil politician, who did not appear in court, had been previously adjourned from March.

Judge Kelly adjourned the case until July 20th.
