A post mortem is being carried out today on the body of a man which was found in a river close to the border on Sunday evening.

It is believed the body had been in the water for some time.

State pathologist Professor Marie Cassidy was due to carry out a post-mortem on Monday.

The body was found close to where a 4x4 vehicle belonging to missing Derryman Stephen McCloskey was found last week.

The 33-year-old father of three has been missing since October 28th.
