The search for missing Carrick man continues
The search has resumed today for the father-of-two who has been missing since early on New Year’s day.

The search has resumed today for the father-of-two who has been missing since early on New Year’s day.

David Maguire, 38, from Carrick, was reported missing to gardaí on Friday night last.

Mr. Maguire is described as being 5’10, of medium build and when last seen was wearing a green jacket, white hoody and blue jeans.

Local volunteers have joined the Donegal Mountain Rescue team in the search effort. The Coastguard Rescue 118 helicopter from Strandhill has combed the nearby Sliabh League to Muckross Head coast and the Glen and Abhainn Bhuí rivers.

Gardaí and locals have swept several kilometres of the coastline area from Carrick to Teelin.
