The Christmas movie classic “It’s a wonderful life” is all about giving - a story about a man who has given up all his dreams to help others.
The film is considered one of the most loved films in cinema history and has become traditional viewing at Christmas. It shows how one man has touched the lives of many in his community and how different life would have been had he not intervened.
Reading about Little Rory Gallagher and his family’s desperate desire to see their son walking, Patrick Nugent of Eclipse Cinemas in Bundoran is running a special screening of this classic in aid of “Let’s get Rory walking” in Bundoran Tuesday 16th.
Pat said, “Reading about Rory I just thought that there couldn’t be a more appropriate film to help out in the fundraising but also to increase the awareness of the challenge ahead.
“It really is something that we are all delighted to get behind and I would say that this is not just for Christmas - we already have collection buckets in the cinema and will continue to do so all throughout the Christmas season.
“Bookings for the special screening can be made directly at the cinema.”
Shauna Gallagher is overwhelmed with the response to date . She said , “I just cannot believe it, it has been fantastic and really confirms my faith in humanity. I know now that Rory will walk.
