Two major road projects have been announced south west Donegal.
The first of these projects is the N56 from Boyoughter to Kilkenny on the main road between Dungloe and Glenties. The scheme will involve widening and realignment to type three single carriageway. The project also included a cycle track for its full length.
The second project is the Blackburn Bridge Realignment Scheme on the N15 road that is located approximately 2km south of Ballybofey on the Donegal Town road. The length of the section is 2.5 km and the current average annual daily traffic is 6,500. Deputy Dinny McGinley welcomes the projects which are expected to commence in 2015.
