Despite his strong Donegal connections RTÉ sports presenter Des Cahill has tipped Kerry to narrowly beat Donegal at Croke Park today.

Speaking to Marian Finucane on RTÉ Radio One, the Co. Clare man said while he did think it will be very close he believes Kerry might win.

Cahill, who is married to a Donegal woman, also did not rule out a draw in today’s All-Ireland final, during what he described as “the year of draws”.

Donegal manager Jim McGuinness will have to attempt to change the plan that beat Dublin in order to beat Kerry, he said.

“I think it will be close. I don’t anyone will win very easily,” he said.
