Former Glasgow Celtic manager Neil Lennon has praised Jim McGuinness’s psychological approach ahead of today’s All Ireland final.

Lennon, who worked with McGuinness at Celtic before the former Norther Ireland International left the club in the summer, says the Donegal man is doing very well at Scottish champions..

McGuinness joined the Glasgow club after his All Ireland victory in 2012 and Lennon thinks he has got the balance between his two roles right.

Writing in the Irish Examiner, Lennon said the victory over Dublin demonstrated McGuinness’s psychological work.

“Clearly, Jim’s excellent psychological approach worked wonders and it was a tactically superb game for him. He used the guys really well,” he said.
